Formstack Hires COO and CPO

FISHERS, Ind. — The workforce productivity platform Formstack is welcoming two C-suite executives.

Formstack hired Rob Lawrence as chief operating officer and Richard Yu as chief product officer, according to the company this month.

Lawrence will lead Formstack’s go-to-market strategy and oversee sales, marketing, and partner teams.

Yu will guide the vision, organization, and development of Formstack’s product road map.

“Bringing in two seasoned professionals with more than 50 combined years of experience in sales, marketing, and product development to enhance our product strategy is a huge win for our team and customers,” said Chris Byers, CEO, Formstack.

Lawrence brings a “long history of success” to Formstack and experience as an adviser.

Most recently, Lawrence spent seven years as SVP of strategy and corporate development at LogMeIn, now GoTo, where he was part of a leadership team that scaled revenue from $250 million to $1.4 billion.

Lawrence said he’s “excited to accelerate our go-to-market efforts to help more customers unleash their workforce.”

Yu is a product and marketing leader with a background in cultivating teams, products, and businesses.

Most recently, he led the product team at Litmus, where he prioritized a user experience (UX)-first approach while building enterprise offerings.

Yu said his job will be to “accelerate, extend, and refine” Formstack’s product strategy.

“I look forward to continuing to build on a ‘one team’ product culture that is mission-driven and collaborative across the company,” Yu said.
